Do any of you have a down coat?

I've been eyeing this one but it's meant to be good for down to -34C which makes me think it will just be too hot. I live in London, it occasionally goes below 0C here but not that often to be honest.

I am quite warm blooded (am out for dinner tonight with a sweater but no jacket - it's really warm though). You've all convinced me - I have enough coats.

I have a Berghaus down-filled, padded coat, feels lightweight but keeps me so lovely & warm. In Scotland our temps regularly drop below freezing in winter, often well below freezing, but I've always been cosy in this coat.

The only negative is that the little feathers often escape via the seams in the quilted sections and adhere to my clothes underneath. For someone who wears as many dark colours as I do, it's not a good look Xmas Hmm

Dowser the Uniqlo coats shed a little. I wear a lot of black too and it's never a problem.
I say coats because I have a few of them in different colours.

They are the Uniqlo Ultra light down coats.
Sooooo light, but so cosy and water resistant.

I got the not down one in primark for £15 I am big, and booby, it fits lovely looks quite good too and packs into a little neat bag that fits in my work bag so I can wear it if it gets really cold.

I have a Jaeger down coat . Great for really cold weather but far too hot to wear on trains or the tube . And it sheds ...all over my dark clothes underneath, so can't recommend it unless this is not an issue for you .
