This black dress for Christmas wedding?

Do you think this would work for wedding shortly before Christmas? I'm worried about the 'no black for weddings' thing but thinking it maybe looks silvery enough to be ok. Would be v grateful for opinions.

No. I'm rubbish at accessorising and will probably wear some black/silver shoes but could do silver (?) bag - do you think? Silver necklace.
