Party shoe help

I wonder if I could have some shoe help, please? I've been invited to a company Christmas dinner/party and I'm planning on wearing an outfit similar to this sparkly top with wide black trousers. I've lived in chunky flat boots or trainers for most of my adult life so shoe wearing is new to me. I think I'd feel too unstable in high/stiletto shoes. Suggestions are very much appreciated!

I've bought some shoe boots , worn with black tights they look ok.... My feet are very tricky and I live in converse / uggs / flip flops normally so I feel your pain .

I find Ruby Shoos good for the unstable and wide of foot. If you go for something like this with the wider heel or this with a strap you may find the balancing issue is a bit better.

The shoe boot style is something that I could see myself wearing.
