Button back fine knit top

I'm wondering if anyone might know where I could find a button back knitted top in a neutral (beige) colour that I saw somebody wearing today and stupidly didn't just ask where she bought it :(

It was not very fitted but wasn't flowing either, it was really simple from the front but then when she turned around, it had a buttons all the way down the back. It looked really simple and elegant on her.

Does it ring a bell with anyone please?

Sounds gorgeous - I've been looking for a black one for ages. No help, sorry!

I have one from All saints
And also from Cos
Both are grey but all saints have beige

Boden had button back knits last year in plain colours. The one I had was fitted but if you sized up it could have been looser?

I just checked the All Saints website but didn't spot it. I'm hoping it isn't AS as they are so expensive! Black would be very nice too.

COS?

looki · 26/11/2015 22:08

It looks very like Cos but I buy a lot from there and haven't seen it. I will check the website again.

The White Company has a fine knit button back jumper, but with a bit of sparkle:

And here's one from Ann Taylor:
www.anntaylor.com/button-back-sweater/372068?skuId=19409344&defaultColor=2887&colorExplode=false&catid=cata000011

It was less fitted and more 'angular' than the White Company or Ann Taylor tops. I really should have asked her but it wasn't really appropriate at the time.

I have one from massimo ditti, bought in the spring so not on sale there any more

ceeveebee · 26/11/2015 23:43

*massimo dutti

looki · 26/11/2015 23:48

I thought it might have been Massimo Dutti as well but their clothes are usually more fitted (or maybe I'm just too big for them!). thanks all for your help!

I've got an oatmeal one from Laura Ashley - short sleeves and brown buttons down the back? I bought it in the summer sale - looks really nice over a shirt with jeans, not bare arms like this pic...
