Mermaid or mermatron?

Can I wear

www.bravissimo.com/m/pepperberry/#products/skirts-and-trousers/skirts/sequin-pencil-skirt/silver/pb175svr/

A matt sequinned pencil skirt.
I'm a size 12, 5'8" with frankly sturdy calves and am ample of nork.
Also 51 and have a disco ( !) to go to on Saturday! Quite scary. Would wear V necked wrap top, opaques and suede heels.
Would this 'work'? And if not, does anyone have any other Good Ideas? I do not wear trousers except up mountains and in the gym.

The link isn't working, have tried copying/ pasting but it's just taking me to the Hermes site.

If it makes you look like a mermaid then do it. I wish I looked like a mermaid.

I misread mermatron though. In my head I read merma-tron.

Haven't seen the link, but I also read it as merma-tron 😆 I thought I was going to find a new style 😅

Thanks MNHQ for sorting the link.

Met-matron as opposed to Merma-tron!

Suspect I might need to be a size 10 to avoid the matronly fish tailed look.

I love Mermatron.
