Where to buy necklaces?

I'd like to get a couple of nice statement type necklaces, but I'm not sure what. I have a lovely string of chunky grey pearls which I wear a good bit and I had a grey shimmery multi string bead which unfortunately broke, but some other ideas for my Christmas list would be nice. I tend to wear quite simple clothes, lots of grey, navy and off-white/cream. I'm really a big fan of bling on me and I usually wear a pair of very small simple diamond earrings. I almost never wear bracelets.

Look for Ayela Barr ( hope that is spelt correctly) she is a Israely designer. I love her designs. I have four of her necklaces. Everyone comments on them.

Try Stella and dot- gorgeous statement necklaces. Mint velvet also do some lovely ones but are a bit more downplayed rather than statement-y.

Oh, thanks, I'll have a look at those suggestions.

I just noticed a major fail in my OP... I'm not a big fan of too much bling on me!

Not sure of your budget, but you could look at Cos, & Other Stories and Etsy for non-blingy statement necklaces. I've seen some lovely things in the V&A and NT shops too (both are also online) but not sure what they have just now.

(I meant National Theatre not National Trust by the way - but now I'm looking at I can't see any jewellery online at all...)

I had a wander around the sites and designers mentioned above and although I saw some beautiful pieces, I realised I'm boring rather conventional in my tastes. So after happening across a HoF gift card I'd forgotten was in my wallet, I went with hopefully interesting pearls and the best value ever even if I only ever wear it once.

All the suggestions have spurred me to look at different things though, so thanks for the ideas for next time.

Lizzie lane is a good site for Scandinavian jewellery if that's your bag. Not really big pieces but lots of great layering/multistrand type necklaces.
