I'm after some comfy boots - I need flats and my DMs have always been comfortable.

What do you think of these? here

I quite like the burgundy - makes a change from black!

I love those - both colours are great!

I have Blundstone boots this year - I love them - might be worth a look?

burnishedsilver · 23/11/2015 12:47

Definately yes.

higge where did you get your Blundstones? I can find them online but would want to try them on IRL as I'm it familiar with the fit etc. They also look rather clompy IYSWIM, not necessarily a bad thing but need to see in the flesh :)

I am a DM convert and these are amazing so a yes from me!

Higge · 23/11/2015 13:51

Size wise 6 and 6.5 are same length, extra half is meant to be width. They fit large. I went for the 500 stout brown but I was very tempted by the 1316 Volton Black/Red boot too. I ordered 4 pairs from Amazon free delivery and returns. I have barely taken them off since I got them - a bit of wearing in, not much though as I have very blister prone skin.

I have Blundstones, am wearing them now, also in the 500 stout brown.
I am usually a size 6, and had to get a 5 because they come up so large.
I am a fan of DM's, but the Blundstones are the most comfy boots I have ever worn, only took a couple of hours to break in.

Knackeredknitter67 · 23/11/2015 14:35

They don't look clompy when worn, in fact I have had a lot of compliments

Judydreamsofhorses · 23/11/2015 17:29

I have the Floras in cherry red and they took forever to break in - I got mine about this time last year and they're still not 100% comfortable. I have very wise feet though. People who have Blundstones, how are they width-wise? I like the look of them.

Judydreamsofhorses · 23/11/2015 17:29

Wide feet. Not wise feet.

Higge · 23/11/2015 17:32

The blundstones are unisex, choose the length of shoe you need then get a half size for extra width. The 6.5 is the same length as the 6 - it's just wider.

Judydreamsofhorses · 23/11/2015 17:47

Thanks, I might order some from Amazon and see how I go.

Porcupinepantaloons · 24/11/2015 15:09

Bummer! They're not right for my feet. 5s too narrow. 6s like boats. judy think you're spot on about breaking in - they were super stiff! Confused
