Very stressful handbag decision - please help!

I know, first world problem, but...

I've had a longing for a leather Furla hobo handbag for a long time, having coveted a colleague's a few years back. My brother is currently in NYC meaning I could get one cheaper than here. I want it big enough to throw my a5 diary/notebook into, wallet, keys, phone and half the housea few other bits and pieces. I think I've given up on wanting to put my laptop in my handbag. I need either a short strap or cross body. I'm torn between the Furla Liz and Furla Perla

Anyone want to make the decision for me?

I wanted to say the Furla Perla, because I like saying the name, but I think the Liz is more interesting.

Ha, I know, DD would love the idea of the rhyming name. My fear about the Liz is that it'd end up as a suitcase, full of all the crap I can pile in there. I do like it though, even with the tassles. I'm usually allergic to tassles and pretty much anything "interesting"

The Liz is much nicer IMO.

This wouldn't be a stressful decision for me as I'd go for Liz - more bag for the bucks and more versatile than the Perla which doesn't look greatly different from so many other large/hobo-type leather bags.

What colour are you going for? I'd love it in 'petrolio' but if I was using it for work it would have to be black.

Ok, seems Liz the one so. Goddess, given the price, I want to use it for everything! I think for the sake of practicality the black would be most sensible, but the petrolio is gorgeous. Then again, I don't think I've ever had a black work handbag, the ones I'm using currently are oxblood and cream and black.

If you don't have to use a black or very dark colour handbag for work, go for the petrolio and you'll have a bag you'll absolutely adore that will stand out from the crowd and will stand the test of time.

Just spotted both styles are currently in stock at Brandalley . £148 for the Liz and £135 for the Perla.

I'd go for the Perla, I like the Liz style but I like a full closing zip on my bags.

I don't think you should go for black. Thinking it's more versatile is not true really. Bright orange would not be versatile but navy or Petrolio would be absolutely fine.

Check the sales, a lot of department stores are having 20-25% the past couple of weeks.. If you find a bargain your brother can always order it online and get delivered to a hotel if he is just visiting
