perfume help please

Hi, I know there are many of you who know so much about perfume & I was hoping for a little help.
I'm after a new perfume, but I don't know where to start! I love love love Chanel No 5, but hate overly sweet vanilla scents on me.
I looked at a website mentioned on here before, but I found it difficult to navigate & work out.
Could any of you point me towards a perfume (hopefully a wee bit cheaper than No 5), that I might like?

Have you tried the nose.fr website? Put three favourites in and it recommends based on that

This should show you all the top and base notes etc, and listed down the left are ones that people like who like that. If that makes any sense whatsoever
