I find concealer under the eye creases and goes cakey on me, no matter how I prime or set it, but I have recently discovered this and it is really good for brightening the eye area (I also use it for blemishes, just like a concealer) and staying put. There are loads of similar pencils out there, doesn't have to be that one, but I think it's the waxiness that helps it go the distance.

i had a realisation that i looked like the living dead at the weekend so I sympathise. I agree re under eye concealer being difficult, it cakes and makes me look worse.

I have starting using this and my under eyes do surprisingly look better:www.clinique.co.uk/product/1588/4769/How-to-Guide/AM/All-About-Eyes?77tadunit=e96f9bf6&77tadvert=78027093060&77tkeyword=clinique%20all%20about%20eyes&77tentrytype=s&cm_mmc=ppc--77agency--brand-_-clinique%20all%20about%20eyes&gclid=Cj0KEQiA4LCyBRCY0N7Oy-mSgNIBEiQAyg39tkmPD6tmc_7A2--WJLV8Sp_5KohoIESWDOsDyXIog24aAnPg8P8HAQ

and I also like a concealer pen, its light enough to not go cakey:

avoid the pink shades, go for something more yellow.

For me, loreal touch magique works better than the trillion or so others that I've tried.

VeganCow · 18/11/2015 10:40

this is amazing

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer beats others hands down for me. Non-drying and highly pigmented. I use a primer with mine. Great colour choice too. You don't need much so it lasts. Pricey but worth it.

nannyj · 18/11/2015 13:19

I've just bought collection concealer and it's fab and so cheap. I've tried Laura mercier and bobbi brown and it's much better than those for dark circles. It cost about £4 I think.

PretzelPrincess · 18/11/2015 20:53

I second the LA girl concealer

mrslebon · 18/11/2015 21:36

I second the NARS creamy concealer. A little goes a very long way. I used to use the Collection one, but have to concede that the NARS one is better. Also, this is great for brightening/evening out the whole eye area and it's good as a primer for eyeshadow too:

Benefit boing here. Its called industrial strength for a reason.

lorelei9 · 19/11/2015 09:51

thanks for this - I barely drink but have ethnic origins and mine is the skin that will go really dark under the eyes....I am 40 and I realised it's starting. Plops. I am currently using Soap and Glory but I'm going to have to get something more highly pigmented.

Cheesymonster · 19/11/2015 18:48

I use maybelline fit me concealer which is apparently a dupe for Nars. I then put Touche Eclat on top.

SauvignonPlonker · 19/11/2015 21:34

I like Boots no7; covers up my dark circles well. I'm using urban decay crayon- style at the moment, but it doesn't give as much coverage.
