I have a posh do to go to and don't normally wear much makeup. I use Lily Lolo mineral foundation normally but I'd like to look a bit more 'done' for this, what kind of foundation should I be looking for? I'm blonde but not too pale, I'd like to look a bit more glamorous than usual?

Meh. For a posh do I'm probably go get my makeup 'done' somewhere like a beauty counter / boutique.
Shouldn't cost more than a tenner.

I'm not sure I'll have time for that as the nearest places are too far away

Ah bugger absolutely rubbish advice then Grin.
When doing it at home and not being a lazy arse, I use mineral foundation too and then blend and contour with highlighter (a LOT) / subtle bronzer combo and set with a bit of light powder. All mineral.
.. then I go absolutely nuts on eyes and eyebrows Smile

Smoky eyes are nice for evening, I think, and easier than perfect eyeliner type looks. Lisa Eldridge has some excellent tutorials on her website/YouTube.
