M&S school shoes

Does anyone have any recent experience of school shoes from M&S? I have seen some that look OK on line.

DD is 5, and is size 10. Her current shoes broke today, so am trying to find something good but cost effective, and easy to get to, so any other recommendations would be gratefully received.

I've bought M&S school shoes for DD who is the same age and been impressed and now in year 1. She is on her 3rd pair and they have lasted until outgrown with not too much scuffing although I'm sure DD likes kicking walls for fun and the patent ones looked nicer for longer than the plain leather

I bought the patent scuff resistant monk shoes for DD today online. They look like they offer more protection from the weather than the standard girls' shoes she normally has. I pick them up tomorrow so I'm hoping they'll be ok.
