Styling this sequin skirt?

I have a couple of Christmas parties to go to and I have just bought this sequin skirt: www.phase-eight.com/fcp/product/phase-eight/skirts/nasia-sequin-skirt/801023070 to wear. But I don't have a top to wear with it.

Please help me style it :)

I have looked at a couple of tops, such as www.zara.com/uk/en/woman/tops/view-all/v-neck-top-c733890p3032058.html and www.zara.com/uk/en/woman/tops/view-all/velvet-bow-shirt-c733890p3068509.html but I'm just not sure they're right with the skirt...

Suggestions for shoes are also welcome. I am happy enough to wear heels. I already have some classic black heels, but would nude heels be better?

Everything else plain? Slouchy black fine knit plus black ankle boots.

Wow, it's an amazing skirt. Definitely black heels, black top (probably a cami) and jacket (leather biker or a blazer/tux type). Anything else would just distract from the skirt imo.

Something like this. If its cold you could replace the shoes with black opaques and black suede shoe boots.

With nude heels or a dark red if you can get them Black blazer or leather jacket. That wee cami also comes in black, I just think the red would be nice. I have the river island one from last year in black and in dark green- it has a cut out at the bust and I wear them all the time in the evenings and during the day under things

Sorry should’ve said, I’d tuck the cami into the skirt and then pull it out a little so that it is all still tucked in but a little looser looking. Hope you understand that

I would seek out a cashmere v neck fine knit sweater in a similar colour. Gorgeous skirt!

Agree with PP ... Cami top would look fab. All floaty and slinky!

Black silk t-shirt and ankle boots. Blazer or biker.

I'd say a cami but personally I don't like to wear a cami if I know I'm going to be taking my jacket off.
