Babyliss big hair

Can someone tell me about it? I have very very thick course frizzy shoulder length hair. I straighten it as I can't blow dry it (other than rough drying I really am
Rubbish). What result could the babyliss big hair achieve and how difficult is it to achieve a good look (I really am Useless so I'd need it to be very easy to use).

Is your hair frizzy normally and does it tame it?

Oh it is!

So my hair is weird! It's straight but frizzy so always looks damaged (though I have it cut every hour and spend half my earnings on deep condition blah blah). This is the only thing that make it look healthy and properly straight.

My sister has it too though and she has the curliest hair in the world. It's crazy. I'd take a picture of it un straightened for you but she would disown me. It works on her.

Oh yes I'm not a multi stage girl.

Wash hair, drag comb through hair, dry with Big Hair, leave house.

It's quick which I need because otherwise it just wouldn't get used.

This has been my saviour. It's the one thing that makes my hair soft, sleek and bouncy from wavy thick frizzy witchy hair. I'd recommend it to everyone. It does take time to dry properly, blast dry with hairdryer and leave to dry, when almost dry use BBH.

I have very thick wild unruly wavy bush hair Blush doesn't work for me though. Makes it nice and smooth not in the same way GHD's do and first' hold the style. Soon as I step outside to walk the school run it's wild hair again. GHD hold the style and I use product on my hair the same. Gave mine to my sister who found the same she have it to her 17 year daughter. Waste of money for me Sad

Be prepared for them to break every damn year! Customer services will replacle them the first time but not the second grrr i reckon i got 100 uses out of mine. It was easy to use but not as good as my very old revlon one which lasted about 15 yrs but didnt spin. Will be buying something else this year.

I've never managed to break mine and everything in my house breaks! Maybe I have an older/newer/luckier version.

45 minutes is crazy! I kind of want to watch that tutorial now to see how she can do that. Wouldn't you lose all the blood in your hands?

10 minutes is plenty of time to spend on your hair IMO and it works for me.

It gives the same effect as a good blow dry with a round bristle brush but makes it easy for people like he who struggle to do different things with each hand. I don't use mine all the time but when I do I let my hair almost dry naturally then use for 5-10mins.

I couldn't get the hang of it Sad. Would love to be able to achieve the look that they do in the tutorials, but it is just not happening

I like it and am completely useless with a round brush and hairdryer. I have fine unruly shoulder-length hair that degenerates to frizzy kinks if exposed to weather and untended. I apply curl creme, dry 80%ish with hairdryer, go over with big hair and my hair is smooth, bouncy and holds a nice natural wave for a good few days - I wash every 3 days usually. Takes about 10 minutes. My thing as I get older is I need to look intentional (not super groomed but not entirely haphazard either) and big hair achieves that.

You can't use it on wet hair as it doesn't dry it... I blast hair with hairdryer for 2 minutes then style with babyliss big hair.

Great for styling layers eg turning them under or flicking out and doing fringes. Gives my fine hair a polished look as it does tend to smooth hair.

Also experiment with the speed settings.... I find the fastest one is too fast for me and can tangle hair, however the speed just below it is just right.

Love mine, wouldn't be without it. I have just below shoulder length fine hair, and the BBH makes it swishy and bouncy, nicely turned in at the ends. But it doesn't flatten it, like straighteners do.

I blast with a hairdryer first, until just damp, then I always use it on the slower speed, it's so much easier to control. Working from the bottom, roll up sections of hair, hold for a few seconds and unroll. Easy and quick.

I'm on my second one - the first one stopped working after about 18 months, but I couldn't find the receipt...grrr...and I now have the smaller barrelled one, which I think I prefer.
