Help! Where do I buy a flattering suit for a big mum tum?

I'm returning to work after mat leave in a few weeks and am a stone heavier than when I last wore a suit. I tried some in the next size up, but they still didn't do up over the mum-tum, and the jacket was too short to be flattering.

So, any ideas where to buy a wide-legged, big-waisted, long-jacketed trouser suit?

Could you try a dress and jacket combination instead of trousers, potentially more flattering and easier to wear. I have a city job in a smart firm and wear a lot of mix and match dresses and jackets, not always trouser suits? Or try jackets that aren't buttoned up, the Chanel style Boucle type ones that are often to be found in Zara or Hobbs?

i would spend those few weeks blitzing the mum tum tbh - ideal incentive

Haha, I have been aiming to reduce the mum tum for a while, but it's grown while I've been on mat leave and I'm not realistically expecting it to shift in a few weeks, especially as I don't want to cut calories while still breastfeeding.

I have a few dresses I can wear, I'll check out Hobbs and Zara for jackets - thanks.

yy to the dress+vest/jacket combo.
