Can anyone recommend nice, waterproof boots for winter? Not wellies!

It says it all in the title! Can anyone recommend decent boots which are waterproof? I need them for taking kids to school etc. thanks

This thread might help - quite a few recommendations in there for non-welly type boots.

Ive been very impressed by a pair of Shires Broadway long leather country boots I bought this summer. They are standing up extremely well to the abuse I give them. £150.

I have palladium waterproof boots . Ordered them last year and I must admit their good durability. They are warm, well fit, look awesome with skinny jeans and great for all weather conditions.
