So the chunky socks over ankle boots look. What socks work best?

Sorry, I feel like I'm bombarding the page the last couple of days! I really like this look but am unsure of what socks work best. Chunky knee highs? Anyone seen nice ones in the shops? Preferably nice and thick for my perma cold feet.

Can't help with the socks, but am loving the boots. Any idea where there from?
