Will White Stuff ever suit me?

Hi

I'm new here (I posted yesterday about bras which I have had some good advice about, so thank you) and thought I would ask your advice again.

I am a curvy size 14-16. I love White Stuff clothes. The tunics, tights, little boots or long boots look. I even love it on other 'larger' ladies. I just think I look silly when I try that look! I do have chunky calves but otherwise quite good legs.

What do you all think?

Both my mum and I shop in White Stuff (sometimes she buys stuff I want, grrrr). Shes a very young 62 5ft 4in and a size 14-16 and I'm 29, 5ft 8 and a size 10. We both go for that look but she will generally pick the longer tunics/shorter dresses. I quite often go for a subtle skirt under a tunic but I think anyone can do it. Just try a massive array of the different styles and you will find some that suite.

Some of the tunics I would count as long tops and then wear with jeggings which I like as I feel less exposed

Thanks Madblondedog. I think my problem is that I live in jeans and it's just so different for me. I love the look though (and particularly envy your size 10 frame!)

What does your mum wear with the longer tunics? Does she wear thick tights and boots?

Is something like this too plain for Christmas "do's" (dinners out with the girls and Christmas day at home rather than anything too smart...)

Recently bought some White Stuff pyjamas in size medium. Am usually a size 10, the waist/bust area was fine but the arms and legs were ridiculously long. I'm 5 ft 5 and haven't had this problem with other stores. Was really disappointed.

Mum will wear leggings and boots usually.

Jeggings are a great midground then for you, nice tunic and them and boots as an introduction.

I think that dress with some matching accessories etc would be lovely for going out.

Go try it on, only way to see if you like it Smile

Thanks. I will order it I think Smile
