Urgent qu bananrepublic sizing

Have got pleather trou in my basket, do they run big or small or true to size??? Tia

I think their sizing is quite large - on a par with Gap, their sister company. I'm a 12/14 and a M is fine for me - although I've never bought trousers from there.
