Warm, waterproof yet STYLISH winter boots?

Any recommendations please? I walk a lot - school run, then a couple of miles to work - and have decided to treat myself to a nice pair of boots this winter. They need to be comfortable and warm, plus waterproof (because there's nothing worse than cold wet toes) and also at least semi-smart looking. I've been looking at Sorel, Merrell and Geox but any other suggestions would be much appreciated!

My timberland boots are brilliant. Also their junior range goes up to an adult size 5.5 so I was able to get mine much cheaper. I wear mine everywhere, work (teacher) and walking the dog in all weather's. They are now 3 years old and still look like new .

Thanks for those, they both look great! I think I'll have to do some non-virtual shopping this weekend so I can see some of these in real life.

Sorel boots are pretty good, I have the Campus lace ups and they kept me warm and dry both around town and on skiing holiday.
