Maybe not S&B, maybe Christmas, definitely boring. Slippers.

I need some slippers for Christmas. Fed up with nasty cheap, dangerous primark jobs. So I told Dh that's what I want. So I want- not stupid money, with a back, proper sole, good fitting, not boot style. Is there's such an item?

Best slippers I've ever owned are grey leather Ugg ones. I was slightly put-off by the Ugg name as I'm not a fan of the slouchy boots, but they really are fabulous. They look like loafers, the sole has great grip and they're warmer than the sun (and I have permanently freezing feet, so for a normal human being it must be like thrusting your feet into the portal to hell. In a nice way).

Moshulu do good slippers.

I need exactly the same thing.I quite fancied the look of those mahabis, but they seem to get poor reviews.

I've just got some Mahabis. They are warm. I like the rubber sole (have a mortal fear of slippers with slippy bottoms) and they don't look grannyish.
I like Uggs too - they were wonderfully warm.

Romika wool ones are wonderful Grin, as are real sheepskin slippers.

These are cosy

I'd say look at Morland, toasty warm sheepskin. I have cold feet and these work for me, I've been wearing them since I was a kid, they're fab!
