Boots for very slender legs?

Hoping for some recommendations here after running around town for another day to no avail:

I'm a stick insect willowy type (5ft 7in, size 6) and I'm looking for a pair of knee high boots with a bit of a heel that are not wide enough to accommodate both my legs in one shaft. The only ones I've been able to find so far are clearly geared towards teen girls (no pink details, please!) and unfortunately look quite cheap in terms of material and finish - not really what I'm after!

Has anyone got an idea where I might find something like this? I own a pair that has a separate size for the shaft - but I got those ages ago from my mum and can't seem to find the brand online. Any companies that do this or any model boots that everyone else thinks are ridiculously tiny in the legs?

Thanks for any recommendations!

I think theirs a company called Duo boots who do calf measurements. Wish I could bloody afford them, I have the same problem as you! Wish I had small feet then I'd just buy teens boots!

Thanks, StephenKatz, these are bloody perfect! They let you order by calf measurement in cm - I would have been happy with just a 'small' version!

Brilliant tip, thanks so much!

We need a sticky on this.

Duo - or Ted and Muffy - as they're now called, only go down to a 30cm calf, and they're not very stylish.

I get Peter Kaiser stretch suede boots - avail John Lewis and online - and LK Bennett stretch leather or suede boots and have them taken in by a good cobbler.

Can you get them taken in? What a revelation!

I saw some of the Peter Kaiser ones at a shop I tried - the fit was more or less acceptable seeing as beggars can't be choosers but they only had this one model with very pointy toes which I really dislike in my shoes since you can't properly roll over them, which gives me a funny gait.

I don't like pointy toes either - but they have different models.

There's a Peter Kaiser website and Zalando stock them as well.

The stretch suede tends not to be lined so you get a cobbler to unpick the back seam and take them in.

Have a look at 'Aila' - that's got a square-ish toe.

I bought two pairs of duo boots on ebay last night. Both 30cm calf measurements. Seems that the remnants of skinny leg stock end up on ebay for a vastly reduced price. I also have a gorgeous pair of boots from jones the bootmaker that fit beautifully.
