Burberry initial cape

If you had the chance to have one of the capes with your initials on (as seen last season on Olivia Palermo, Rosie HW etc) would you or are they a bit pretentious/last season.

I have the chance to have one but not sure how I feel about it...

I prefer it without the initial tbh. Lovely colours though.
