I have found some of my grandmothers old handbags. They have been sitting in a box in a cupboard for close to twenty years so they need a bit of a pick me up. Some of them are made from snake, crocodile and other reptiles. Please don't tell me how bad it is I understand and agree with CITES but these bags are at least 35 years old.
Anyway, the skins are quite dry and flaky. Would anyone know how I can go about restoring them?
I am not in the UK but if anyone knows of a bag restorer in Brisbane (I am thinking Leon's at a pinch) then that would be great too.
While I am here, how do you clean your everyday leather bags?
