This one - neon lights, possibly for Christmas Day or other festive outings. Everything on Pinterest seems to be pussybow blouses or bardot tops, neither of which work with my norks and general coldness. I was thinking a nice wrap around ballet cardigan, it seems no-one makes them any more only the ones that tie nana-like under the boobs. I'm about a size 10, hour glass and stacked.

Kanyes I know - it feels bad enough buying a medium in Zara and Hollister! They have some gorgeous skirts - many of them only in s/m sadly Sad.
Don't you love that feeling when you know your stuff is on its way!

Hollister? HOLLISTER?? I'm too terrified of all the coolness and yoothes to go in there and I'm afraid I'll fall over a display in the dark

Sorry Kanyes been away and looks like I killed your thread Blush. I have a tween DD who loves Hollister so I had to finally brave the dark. Worth a look for casual tops and knitwear especially.

Just back to update... Skirt arrived thus morning and she's a beauty. I got xl, and might chance sizing down if buying from there again. (I'm a size 11 in Gap, 12 is slightly too big, 10 is slightly too small)

Hi KanyesVest,

Is 12 Gap US size?

Hope you can post a pic of the skirt! Eagerly awaiting mine. :) How will you style it?

KanyesVest · 24/11/2015 20:21

No, Frieda, sorry, it's Gap US 8 I'm wearing right now, which is a UK 12 (I've been told). I will take a pic of the skirt later. I think the grey cashmere cardi will be perfect, as will my orange fine knit jumper. I have a pair of 70s tan stack heeled knee high boots which I think will be lovely with it. I think for Christmas I'll go for opaques and very simple heels. And as a bonus, it has pockets! I love a skirt with pockets.

I love love love Aliexpress! Ok so the clothing is really only suitable for those who are below a size 16 but I buy shoes, toys, household stuff etc and never had an issue. It's great for kids clothes too.

friedafilmer · 24/11/2015 21:49

KanyesVest - I'm a UK14. I hope I fit! I also bought the XL.

GrinAndTonic - The day I discovered AliExpress was the day my wallet cried! Or at least, my Paypal balance did. :D

KanyesVest · 24/11/2015 21:51

I got it from Chicwish, Grin, I didn't know it was on Aliexpress. I love it, definitely going to get lots of wear out of it once I iron it. Pics attached, excuse my washing in the background.

GrinandTonic - Sorry, not Paypal, but my credit card! Need more coffee apparently to wake up my brain :)

friedafilmer · 24/11/2015 21:52

Love it KanyesVest!! Hope mine comes soon! I think the orange top goes with it the best :)

friedafilmer · 24/11/2015 21:55

KanyesVest - what's your height, btw?

KanyesVest · 24/11/2015 23:01

Yeah, I love the orange but the grey feels more grown up. I'm 5ft2 in my bare feet 6inches taller if I don't have to walk anywhere

GrinAndTonic · 25/11/2015 08:49
