Inbetween shoe sizes - what to do?

I thought I had found this year's party heels - gold, glittery and a steal at less than £25.
But, alas, they are too large, my heel goes up in the shoe when walking, no use.

A size smaller they would be too small.

Preferably I'd like something to keep my foot back a bit so my toes won't get pinched. Is there such wondrous device??
I've got those stick-on heel grip things, but I think it's too much of a gap for them to work.

Insole?
Cotton wool in the toes?

Toffeelatteplease · 04/11/2015 20:25

Insole but only if there is enough shoe to hold it in place
