Think the time has come to seek a better solution before I turn into a yeti before Christmas. I have PCOS and my plucking/bendy stick/waxing routine isn't quite cutting the mustard any more. Dark hair and medium skin, so think I'm a candidate.

There seems to be a fair few machines about - was looking at the Lumea (£££) but noticed a cheaper Veet one and Boots do one too.

Anyone got one that they'd recommend (or not) - looking like I'll have to pool all my Christmas money and then some, but don't want to buy a wrong 'un.

How are people getting on?

Hello! Been meaning to do an update - right, some progress I think, though what with Xmas and all I've not quite been as dedicated as I'd hoped to be. So far I've tackled my lower legs (nothing too noticable in the way of progress here), my pits (slowed down a bit though nowhere near done), bikini line well, standard bikini line on most people, mine is massive, thanks PCOS and had really good success, very pleasing. Most bothersome for me for me is my chin and upper lip, which though nowhere near sorted, has improved dramatically as has my self confidence. So, yeah, pretty good so far. I'm going on a beach holiday this summer, so being able to face the beach is my long term aim. No miracles happened, but it's nice to be working towards a goal.

Anyone else got a progress report?

Have you got any more progress reports MoogDroog?
My DH has offered to get me one for my birthday so I don't have to worry about my tache anymore . I am pale skinned, freckly and very dark haired, so want to table all areas really.
