In case anybody lives near Kingston upon Thames they had plenty of them in stock in store today.

I got one in store. They had tons. Lady said that just a few had been kept back for sale on line.

Lots available in the main Belfast store. My daughter will be home in early December, and I fancy have a raid through and divvy up session with her misses the point of advent calendars

it isn't discounting it when I add it to my bag

TWO HUNDRED POUNDS

Not discounting for me, even if I go right through to 'place order'.

oh i ssee 25

what a odd pice of marketing that is

It's only when you get to the pay screen that the £175 "discount" shows (as long as you have at least £25 of other stuff in the basket)- it is quite disconcerting!

I wonder if anyone has actually paid £200 for it. They've been trailing the £25 offer for weeks so if anyone paid full price they must be seething now.

Report
whodhavethoughtit · 18/11/2015 09:36

I go through to the final pay screen and it still isn't discounting

Report
YoungGirlGrowingOld · 18/11/2015 09:51

whod I think you have to add in the discount code at the final pay screen - which then tells you the code is invalid, but (according to the person on their live help message thing) that is actually because they have sold out online....

Maybe they have some online stock left over if you are silly enough to pay 200 quid! Tbh I had spent ages choosing gifts on M&S online but when they buggered me about with the advent calendar I just binned the lot and bought from JL instead - the quality is better anyway Smile

There's no code- it applies the discount automatically

But that might be academic now if they are sold out

I think the stores are better at making sure stuff is available in the flesh as it were to avoid criticism around selling hyped up things online before most people get a chance. Boots recently had a really great offer of a makeup set which "cost" £40 but selling for £20 - SIL wanted to get it for my DD but it was gone online in moments. There were however piles of them in my local store!

Just got mine - shedloads of them at Pudsey store near Leeds.

I got one yesterday at the M&S Edinburgh Gyle store - loads in stock if anyone in the Edinburgh area is looking out for one.

There's also a 20% off code (in store only) so they'll probably sell out quick.

I got a couple of things from Stila and the calendar for less than £50 with the discount. VG value for money - things I actually want to try and the sizes are generous too, not piddly wee things. I think some might be full sized (had a sneak peek when I bought it home).

I'm scared. I have it in my basket and it's not giving me the discount!

When does it show up??? I'm just about to put in my card details

I've added the code and it's not taking off the £200 Confused

Is it £25 in store? Surely people aren't spending £200?!

Report
JeffsanArsehole · 20/11/2015 19:16

Ffs. It refused to give me the £175 discount when I checked out so now I've paid and I'm going to have to take the fucking thing in to get my discount.

No confirmed order emailed either Hmm

Report
JeffsanArsehole · 20/11/2015 19:29

Called up and the lovely 'Raj' said it was happening to everyone (glitch) and refunded my £175. Already had the email confirming order and refund.

So there's stock available !!!
