How to wear this skirt?

I love it. I'm 5'9", size 10-12. No idea what to wear it with. Any ideas? Could I wear ankle boots?

Maybe a fitted shirt tucked in or a plain sweater would look good with it. What are the ankle boots like?

I'm thinking suede, slim heeled shoe boots. Dark grey.

Tights? I prefer opaque, but think thick dark tights would be too much.
