Where do you store your handbags when you're not using them?

I hang them off the coathooks under the stairs (sometimes snapping the hooks and leaving less space for the family's coats and jackets Blush).

I've been known to stash them in my wardrobe, a box under the stairs, wardrobes in DC's rooms and even behind the chair in the sitting room.

It sounds like I've lots of them but I don't. I've just never been able to find a suitable resting place for them!

Do you have any tips please?

That's my long term plan, I just need a bigger bedroom first Grin

I have one good one and one smaller, now somewhat scruffy one. I hang them on the back of the kitchen door with my backpack.

I'd love a dressing room, but that would mean evicting the kids.

My not-in-use ones are stuffed in a larger bag, towards the bottom of my wardrobe.
My in-use ones are deposited at strategic points around the house.
This thread has just made me think about handbags - I have a Mulberry one which I love, which dh (in a surprising move) bought me last Christmas - I only use it for evening/non-Dc type stuff, as it's too tiny to stuff with spare tights, Babybel etc. I've just realised I've no clue where it is! Clearly it's been too long since my last night out!

I have a corner wardrobe with 2 rails.. upper and lower. As lower is a bit dark and hard to use, have hung my bags on coat hangers on that rail - and same for my 2 backpacks... it uses the space well and v easy to swap out

I also have a BIG leather pouch (its a clutch, but soft) that i keep purse, phone, keys etc in.. makes swapping handbags v easy then

Tbh, this uses what i have.. not sure would need more than 3-4 bags in different colours - wont replace some of my 8 or so (collected over 15 years!) when they die

I have a wall in my dressing room dedicated to handbags. Enough said!

Bottom drawer of chest of drawers, in dust bags. I don't switch handbags too often but I do have a bag organising thing that I love.

I keep mine in our divan drawers, not in fancy boxes though.

On the top shelves of the wardrobe.
