Boots for a shortarse

I am 5'1" and really need some leather knee length boots. Smart, Brown riding boot style preferably. Everything I've tried on comes up too high on the leg and digs in at the back of my knees. Any ideas pretty please? Budget up to 100.00.

What size are your feet? Can you get away with childrens' ones?
I'm tall but have stupid skinny legs (not a stealth boast- I look like a golf club at times) and often get my boots from Jones Bootmaker kids section as they tend to fit smaller. Although they do often come up shorter.
Might be worth a shot- as could Next kids too.

Thanks for going to so much trouble Captain I tried Next but sold out in my size. I'm 5.5 or 6. The Jones ones look great.

They have these in a 6. I love looking at boots. I used to work for Jones too so browse their site regularly! (I still can't work out short links though!)
