It doesn't matter what the label says right...?

I am pondering ordering this dress. But it's from a granny shop. My head is saying "stuff where it's from", my heart is saying that it's the beginning of the end. Any views? I am on a serious health and diet kick and have lost a stone in 7 weeks. I have more to lose so I don't want to spend a lot. I have three events I need a dress for in the next 6 weeks.

If you like it and it will suit you, go for it.

I have a pair of holiday trousers from there.

BikeRunSki · 30/10/2015 21:41

I really like it. Bon Marche often pop up on here as being great for basics.

Doobigetta · 30/10/2015 22:07

That's really nice, I'd never have guessed where it was from. Go for it.

RJnomaaaaaargh · 30/10/2015 22:09

I absolutely love that and if it was in a 14 I'd be buying it right now.

I'm also incredibly vain and would cut the label out Grin

WotNoLoobrush · 30/10/2015 22:12

I give it the thumbs up too.

BumWad · 30/10/2015 22:15

Well I didn't expect that dress when I clicked on the link! It is lovely I am 31 and would wear it!

WotNoLoobrush · 30/10/2015 22:46

But it's from a granny shop.

I wouldn't say it was a 'Granny shop' actually.

HarrietSchulenberg · 31/10/2015 00:25

I have a Bonne Marche dress that I bought a few years back because, shock, I liked it. I saw it in the window so went in, but it's not a shop I would normally think of looking in. It wears well, washes well and still looks good.

HellesBelles01 · 31/10/2015 00:45

Agree with PP - if you like it then you should get it. You can always return it if you change your mind.

FWIW, I think it's a lovely dress and fab colour, perfect for this time of year considers ordering one for myself and cutting out label

chanie44 · 31/10/2015 07:58

What a nice find.

If we all tried hard enough, we all could probably find something we liked in most shops.

I'm guilty of avoiding particular shops which I don't think I'll like, but I should be more open minded.

Toraleistripe · 31/10/2015 08:10

I like it and I am very stylish!Smile

Helenagrace · 01/11/2015 11:04

Thanks everyone. I have ordered it. I found a code online so it's ended up costing me just £18!

Still might cut the label out though!

Excellent! What a lucky findSmile

Shutthatdoor · 01/11/2015 16:07

Great. Smile where did you find the code?

desperate for short leg jeans which they do

BikeRunSki · 01/11/2015 17:15

I wouldn't worry OP, I've just ordered some trousers from Dash!

Pigleychez · 01/11/2015 17:52

I like it and would buy it if I had somewhere to wear it to!

Dont worry about cutting the label out. Who will see it anyway when your wearing it Smile

MrsEdinburgh · 01/11/2015 20:53

Lovely dress. You could be the one who kickstarts Bonmarche in to being a cool shop!

Nettletheelf · 01/11/2015 23:48

Finding something decent in a granny shop is cause for celebration and boasting!

Helenagrace · 02/11/2015 08:56

shutthatdoor the code I had came from googling - possibly voucher codes. It's A43YRPTAA. My mum said they were giving out vouchers for the same thing in the shop recently.
