Winter boots help

In needing to get some decent winter boots that's won't break the bank, £100-£150
Looking to tick quite a few boxes:
Casual
Comfortable-going to New York in December so will be walking a lot.
Not too flat nor too high-bad back and lots of walking
Wearable with different styles of jeans-mainly skinnies.
Could you style gurus help me find some-feel like I've got boot blindness from Internet searching over the weekend!!

I got a really really comfy pair from Sainsbury's for £55 - leather, knee high, great over jeans and with dresses, low heel. I like them so much that I am tempted to buy a second back-up pair! They also have regular 25% off sale and you can order online.

Those look fab. I forgot to mention I have fat legs! I'll try and find a sainsburys that stick these to try them on,

I just got these, wool lined so v cosy and comfortable - they would be perfect for walking around NYC in Dec (unless they have snow, then you would need proper snow boots).

Try Pikolino I bought some tan knee high ones last week, so comfy, small heel so I can wear with opaques, wide enough to fit my chunky calf's cannot recommend highly enough

FTFF - if your local Sainos don't have your size you can order them oline, click and collect for free, try them and keep/return.

I'm also looking at These www.shuropody.com/darcy-black.html I had a pair from shuropody last year following a recomendation from here. I want to try them on this time, as my last pair came up a bit big, but they were so solid, warm and comfortable.
