Bridal headband ideas

I'm hoping others may provide inspiration!

I'm looking for a full headband, ideally of a antique-y / vintagey style, that sort of darker hue. My dress is a champagne and gold colours and I have dark hair.

This Kalmia III is the only one I've really liked so far. I haven't actually seen it in the flesh though! I have tried and did like acacia and meadow headbands of the Jp range.

Does anyone know of any others? Or brands / designers to look at? Ideally don't want to spend more than £400 ish and definitely don't want one on the side.

I bought mine from this site, which was recommended through a wedding forum I used to go on.

Liza : www.lizadesigns.co.uk/

Custom made to your colours. You've made me want to root mine out of the wardrobe. ..

Glitzy secrets mentioned above is great, got bridesmaid items from there and very good value for money

LizardBreath · 26/10/2015 20:54

Thanks red, I have looked on etsy (and eBay) but can't find anything quite right? They all seem a bit too dainty - I have a big head!

gillianmillion.com/weddings/product-category/headdress/

Gillian Million in Teddington (SW London - but also online) has lots of gorgeous headdresses, bands and tiaras. All custom made (so you can choose the colours) and in your price range, I think. There are lots of other lovely things in the shop too. I had a beautiful headband made for for my wedding and ended up buying earrings, a necklace, a headpiece for my bridesmaid and a 1950s cropped jacket to wear over the dress!

I only want to get married so I can wear one of these...

Trifle Rabbit tiaras

I really love some of these - she's an independent Sheffield designer: www.debbiecarlisle.com/collections/headpieces

Can also highly recommend Glitzy Secrets, I wore one of their combs for my wedding.

Take a look at Hermione Harbutt. She'll be at the upper end of your price range but her designs are striking.

kat088 · 29/10/2015 09:30

Another one for Hermione Harbutt, she has showrooms in london and bristol (but works with people all over the world) and can create something bespole for your budget.

grisclair · 29/10/2015 09:56

You could also have a look at BHLDN - all very vintage looking.
