I'm not big.
I've slimmed to a size 10
But I'm nearly 50 and have a wobbly middle
I bought a lovely knitted dress from sainsbury - bigger size is too big on arms and shoulders
Smaller size is great but you can see flab line over the top of my tights/knickers front and back.
What smoothing holding in solutions can anyone give? Shop, style, link please?
I've got supermarket / high Street money btw!

Sorry- no help to offer, but following with great interest.

I think what you need is a control slip/dress so that there's no cutting in point where pants etc finish. Had a quick look and found this one from Very but you may be lucky and get one in Primarni or a supermarket clothing range.

The 'wear your own bra' control slips (mine is from M&S) really are the dogs when it comes to smoothing

I've ordered one on eBay (new!) for £9.00
Thanks!

Would a body with built in bra be more comfy?

Poss not for this dress, but for a wobbly middle bravissimo lola basque gives amazing shape and vv comfy (not normal foe a basque).. goid price for what irlt is at £50

Try tkmaxx for spanx. The ones that look like cycling shorts that come up to your bra strap are brilliant.

If the dress isn't lined and old fashioned slip is also worth trying.

Spanx! I found mine in T K Maxx and it is the best control wear I've had
