Jeggings Virgin... What the heck do I put on my feetfeet?

I know... 5 years after the rest of the country started wearing them, I finally bought a pair.

I was wearing black flats when I tried them on, and they looked awful until I realised that it was the black socks that were the problem! (I always have cold feet)
Flats with bare ankles = ok

What works and more importantly,, what should never be worn with them.
A hint... My shoe collection is very frumpy!

Around here, chelsea boots. DD's uniform.

chelsbells · 23/10/2015 17:19

I wear mine with my converse, I have the converse dance style though so more of a slip on, no laces which look quite casual with jeggings.

Long boots look fine with them too, don't stress about what to put on your feet, treat the jeggings as skinny jeans and wear whatever you would with them!

I think I'm too old for Converse!
I've tried on all my boots and they all look wrong.

I think I need some flat bootsboots, but I terrified of looking like Max Wall
Next time I'm out, I'm going to check out everyone's feet

I had mine on yesterday. I wear biker boots with mine. Calf length or ankle boots are best. I wear my palladium trainers with them. The look fine :)

I wear either ballet flats in summer or converse, Vans or boots in winter. Heel and style of boots vary depending on what I'm doing but my preference at this time of year are ankle boots with a little heel.

Boots only for me.
Tend to favour my chunky high heeled biker boots.
If I had socks on show DD would disown me Smile

I think you're right PennyPants. It's the socks that are the no-no!
My loafers look fine without socks, so it's boots for winter.
Rummaging in wardrobe has revealed 6 pairs of boots/ shoeboots, 5 of which look dire, but I might get away with my highwayman long boots.

Off to buy some biker boots. I'm sure I can find some mumsy frumpy ones!

I just treat like skinnies. Brogues for a smarter look, high tops for casual. And with the brogues you can still wear socks (if you have a quirky style and can pull it off).

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/10/2015 15:21

Leather Converse or Chelsea boots here, or heeled ankle boots for going out.

Lndnmummy · 24/10/2015 16:29

Boots or brogues if smart, high superga if casual or playing football with ds in park (suits my wide feet much better than converse).
