Help me find a coat please.

I am broad of shoulder, big of nork and shortish - about 5'3 - so anything big collared/shouldered or oversized makes me look like a large box. Similarly double breasted makes me look like I have a couple of pillows down my front.

Don't want camel, black or blue. Too much of flared skirt is all wrong - just too much going in and out iyswim. Already have the unattractive-puffy-rugby-watching thing for the really cold, so full thermal properties not required.

So probably:
Fitted.
V neck is cool (have lots of scarves).
Warmish - don't mind having to layer underneath.

Attractive, feminine, a bit quirky all considered. Will go up to £150 (not much I know). Just save me from ending up with a parka or wax jacket. These would work for me practically but just want to liven up my jeans and jumper day-to-day wear a bit.

I have trawled the 'net and got lost and overwhelmed. I think I quite like the thought of Joe Brown stuff but none are quite right - wrong colour/too high of neck etc.

Help, please, before I freeze....

fur collar

simple

Ooo, like the simple asos one - have ordered in the mid grey.

Fur collar one is probably too "big" on the shoulder for me - I have tried a few and just look all odd and out of proportion. Bit like wrap coats - love both but just cannot wear

Thank you.

Bah. Received the ASOS one and it comes up ginagarous. The shape was good on me - but it was just enormous. I know the currend trend is for slightly over-large boyfriend coats - but for someone wide of shoulder it does not work. I look like a bus. Or a slightly fuzzy multi-storey carpark. Did think about ordering smaller but it is also a bit prickly and I kept having to scratch my neck.

And it was a bit...dull? I think this is why I am having problems. I think I want a bit madder. Colour/fabric wise rather than cut wise. I live in jeans/v-necks and t-shirts - but I like to quirk my dullness up with the odd less conservative bit - leopard print or snake-skin vans/trainers. A dull coat takes me to middle aged frumpsville. But wary of being mutton dressed as lamb.

Anyone spotted anything interesting out there that is not NCP proportions?

Vera Wang fur

red teddy bear coat

Fur might be too bulky though?

What about waiting till midnight for the Carine roitfeld collection for Uniqlo, there should be a light leopardskin coat in that, I think?

Oh those furry coats are gorgeous, but I think you might feel a bit silly actually going out in them.

also Desigual, quirky and colourful, some reductions on their website and possibly on Amazon?

How about leather?

Quite trendy at the moment.
