Monthly box my little box?

I was thinking of buying a monthly box subscription as a gift and wondered which was best out of glossy box, look fantastic, birch box and my little box. My Little Box looks the most fun/ random but I'm not sure if it's best value. If you subscribe to a box scheme can you give any recommendations? Thanks!

I get a glossy box and I love it. Very good value. Birchbox isn't meant to be quite as good. I ordered a look fantastic box as a one off and wasn't too impressed as it was mainly skin and hair are rather than cosmetics.

Which Beauty Box is a helpful website - it details the contents and prices of most of the big beauty boxes. I tend to buy more from Latest in Beauty where there is no subscription and I can see the contents before buying.

Birchbox is reliably good with occasional disappointments. Lots of high end skincare.

GlossyBox is the bargain bin in Poundland. All temporary tattoos and glitter nail polish.

My Little Box has far too many non beauty items for me..

I recommend buying one off boxes from Latest in Beauty and Feel Unique instead.

Cohorted do some great boxes but you have to preorder them and they go like hotcakes.

I subscribed to My little box for about 8 months. Slowly went downhill in terms of quality and delivery. The beauty products that are in them are not of a high end. It is a quirky idea to have a mix of products and not just beauty, but it wasn't worth the price in my opinion.

I got my second little box today. It's brilliant. It has a decent sized sample of Nars orgasm blusher. It has a gorgeous pair of navy blue mittens with gold stars on, navy blue make up bag with a navy and gold nail polish set and a fancy tube of body cream. I've loved every box I've had.
