what colour tights with tan boots

Have bought myself some lovely tan knee length boots as an alternative to black. I tend to wear dresses.

What colour tights am I supposed to wear? Surely black will look hideous.

I think blank and tan look nice actually!

Navy would work too, or purple/plum. But really it all depends on the colour of your dresses.

Well I have a yellow one, and a grey one, and a green/patterned one

Confused

I have a friend who wears grey with her's and she looks great. She looks great in everything though!

Plum or purple. If you need black for a particular dress, I wouldn't go too opaque (40-50 denier) or you could wear black lacy ones - I think a very solid black would sort of overpower the tan a bit

Super. Thank you.

I'm off to shop for lacy tights Smile

Black goes well with tan

KanyesVest · 19/10/2015 22:45

Can I be very nosey and ask about your boots? I'm on a seeming eternal search for a nice pair....

I bought them from Ted & Muffy. They are the ones who make them for the chunky of calf Blush

I like black and tan together too. And I'd always go for proper opaque, not 40 deniere as I think even a good pair of lower deniere opaques can look cheap.

But then, I like the m&s dress on the other thread, so probably best not to listen to me!

RickOShay · 20/10/2015 07:23

I would say navy. Can't go wrong with navy.
