Hi there. I have a rare day to head to Oxford Street and on my list is a new cleanser.... I've been a bit all over the place wth skincare since children and haven't stayed true to any brand or routine. However, I'm getting there now and should like a new cleanser that won't break the bank. I've got the Emma Hardie oil based one that I use in the evening (when I remember...) but am after something that I can use in the shower in the morning.

I've had such good recommendations from this board (basically everything that I currently use...), that I thought I would ask here before getting seduced by pretty packaging and empty promises. I'll have access to lots of shops today - Boots, JL etc so any good ideas would be very much appreciated! I'm 38 (and definitely starting to look it!), knackered by two small DSs, but my skin is generally ok. Thank you!

I am using this at the moment and finding it lovely. Cheap as chips too.

I also like this but I don't think it would work in the shower so I use it at night.

As you can see, I'm the opposite of high-end when it comes to skincare Grin

Hi, I use this, it's amazing...

www.actiderm.co.uk/me/karen-khan/cleanse-and-purify/antibacterial-face-wash/

It's a non-foaming cleanser that restores radiance. Vitamins and fruit enzymes quickly and gently lift impurities and make-up while actively illuminating and nourishing the skin. Pumpkin enzymes deeply cleanse pores without irritation while Vitamins C & E, known for their restorative properties, help fortify and protect the skin against free radicals and environmental damage. Contains the perfect blend of antibacterial and cleansing properties to help deeply cleanse, purify and tone your skin by removing hidden dirt and unclogging pores.

Thank you! I'd forgotten about Superdrug.... That gel cleanser looks good so will see if they have it in stock. The Actiderm stuff also looks lovely, but I'm trying to cut down on online shopping (plus I'm at the shops today, without children, and I want to buy stuff! Even if it's not terribly exciting...). Do you know if it is stocked anywhere? The website just seemed to have online stuff. Thank again.

Try Lush for their cleansers. I've used Coalface for years and my spot prone skin has never looked better. A block of Lush cleanser is about 6 quid, cut it into 3 pieces when you get home and it lasts months. Ask one of the staff for some advice.

I love Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean. Not expensive, often on offer, pump is v shower friendly, and is lovely.
