Removing makeup with oil

Does anybody do this?

I've just started with vitamin e oil, and I've developed a spot under the skin, I can't know.it's linked to that obviously but it's unusual for me to get spots.

If you do do this, which oils do you use and why?

I have read about olive oil, but I've also read about almond oil.

I really like the way it takes my makeup off by practically melting it, it saves a load of scrubbing!! Grin

I do this but with jojoba oil. It's apparently the best for the skin as it's the most like the sebum your skin produces. It doesn't dry out the skin or cause spots, in fact it's recommended for people with acne.

It comes off a dream with it, failing that I use coconut oil.

I rub the oil on in a circular motion and use a hot muslin (from body shop) to take off the oil and makeup.

HTH

Where do you buy your jojoba oil? I don't think I've seen it anywhere

Every oil I've tried has brought me out in spots. I went back to using simple.

Amazon. Make sure it's pure cold pressed. Cheapest place I've seen it to. Failing that Holland and Baratt but it's way more expensive . It lasts a long time too, the 250ml bottle lasts me months.

Coconut oil...but if you like the technique but find actual oil breaks you out, try Clinique Take the Day Off balm cleanser. Feels like an oil but non-comodogenic.

Coconut oil here.

I rub it all over my face and wipe off with a cotton wool pad. Then use a cloth to wipe my face with hot water, then cold. Feels lovely!
