Another leggings one - Hush

My Sainsburys never has my size in the leggings everyone raves about, just wondered if the Hush leggings were worth £25? I like them thick very opaque and thigh slimming without feeling restrictive (if that makes sense) a nice high waist and nice and soft.

M&S and Next are no good for me, anywhere else?

I'd say so, yes. I just had to chuck a pair after two years of wearing around the house a few days a week. They eventually developed holes in one knee.

Soft, thick and comfy. Just bought a replacement pair and they seem equally good. Go through quidco to get some cashback (I've done this for online purchases and made over £1,000 to date)

I just bought a pair of the mint velvet ones after seeing recommendations on here and I can't even get them over my thighsBlush The high waist band is teeny tiny. I definitely ordered a size too small, but I think the medium will be too small and I'm a size 10. Avoid if you have a mum tum- the waist band has no give whatsoever.

Bolshybookworm · 18/10/2015 21:39

Speaking as someone with said mum tum.

I like Boden leggings - soft, thick, not baggy but expensive sadly.

LazySusan11 · 18/10/2015 21:55

Thank you! I've ordered a pair from Hush, will take a look at Boden too.

Mint Velvet jeans are tiny too, I thought it was just me that didn't get on with them.

I adore Hush leggings. Soft, warm, durable and wash well. I've had my pair for 2 years and they're still great. Word of warning though-I'm a 12/14 and a Large. They do run small.

Preservere with sainsburys, you can order online now too.. They are great :)

I'm a 14 and wear M in Mint Velvet, the whole reason I like the leggings is they smooth my big stomach.

WaggleBee · 19/10/2015 17:34

The Hush ones are soft and thick but the waist elastic is very narrow and tight so they cut in. I'm a size 10 and have the S/M. I perhaps should've got the M/L instead.

I'm going to try the MV ones as the waist looks very wide so more comfortable.

WaggleBee · 19/10/2015 17:35

Oh just seen Bolshy's post about the MV.

Bolshybookworm · 19/10/2015 19:25

How do you get them on cuffs?
Do you have tiny thighs?
Literally couldn't get them past my upper thighs Confused
I wear size 8 leggings in next!

amarmai · 19/10/2015 22:57

got a lovely pair at H&M today. Been wearing my last H&M ones for 5 years but as they were getting thin at the knees i had a brainwave- i wear them back to front = another 5 years ?

CuffsAndCollar · 20/10/2015 00:03

My problem with the Hush ones is they kind of always felt like I had them on back to front, always having to pull up the back for some reason.

Mint Velvet, I definitely don't have small thighs (sadly), maybe the larger ones are a better cut? Also, haven't had any this year, maybe they've changed?
