Slim calf boots for girls - do they exist??

My DD (8) is very slim, and we are having a total nightmare trying to find boots for her. She's getting more interested in what she wears and is desperate this year for some leather tall-ish boots, so we've been to Clarks and JL today and tried on everything they have but they all look ridiculous as there's such a huge gap at the top.

Being, ahem, larger-of-calf myself this is not an issue I've encountered before. I know you can get narrow fit boots for women which are £££, but I've spent ages googling and can't find anything similar for kids in a size 1.5 or 2. Obviously I'd rather not spend a fortune as they likely won't fit next year, but happy to spend up to about £60 for something that looks good.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received Thanks

Hi try jones the bookmaker, they do nice childrens boots, I have very slim calves & small feet, have a really nice brown leather riding boots from them fairly reasonable price too, might be worth a try.

Sainsburys usually have nice ones which fit my tall, slim DD who is nearly 8. I've only just passed last year's on to my niece as they have lasted well, just been outgrown.
