So Nars creamy concealer...

I need help with colours. I have Olive skin. I am unsure what colour to buy as i want it for my under eye shadows and i am unlikely to get to a shop to try testers. I would like to order online but dont want to make a mistake with colour. So has anyone tried the Nars creamy concealer and what colour did they choose? I think maybe custard or ginger? Anyone help please? Thanks.

Oh and did you go for a lighter colour if its for under eyes?

Ginger looks like it would be good for olive skin. Custard is quite pale.

Tbh I'd skip it and buy the Urban Decay Naked Skin one instead. I was amazed at how much I hated the NARS one. It's horribly thick and dry.

Yes to lighter shade under the eyes. Just one shade lighter than your foundation or you'll end up with reverse panda eyes. Not a good look.

I would guess maybe Medium Neutral but it's hard without seeing your skin!

By olive skin do you mean green undertones, or just darker skin? If the former then Nars is no good IMO, it's all either pink or yellow. I have pale olive skin so sympathise, green undertones are tricky to work with.

In that photo you don't look olive to me at all!

Skin tones are a bugger to figure out Grin.

I have Italian parents so have the typical olive skin tone from that area. Its not a dark olive colour.

Yellow undertones aren't olive. Olive = green undertones. If you have yellow undertones then Nars is fine.

Well i have no idea what green undertones are tbh. I have sallow olive skin thats all i know. I am not fair.

Think i am going to go with the urban decay one. I dont like the idea of dry and thick.

The only thing with the urban decay one is I have to scrape the applicator as I pull it out the tube as it picks up loads but it's not really a problem
