Stylish yet comfortable maternity bottoms

I'm 26weeks pregnant, huge, uncomfortable, and struggling to find ANYTHING to wear on my bottom half.

At work I live in dresses, flat shoes and maternity tights, but I'm itching to get out of the tights by the minute I get home.

What can I wear on evenings and weekends that's cheap (I'm broke) yet relatively stylish?!

My maternity skinnies from Asos constantly fall down and drive me mad. Leggings are hideous, and jogging bottoms are ok around the house, but not outside.

In the summer I had some harem pants that were ok, but it's getting too cold for that now - and they don't go with winter shoes. Help!

I wish I could help you. At around 26 weeks I was still in some Topshop and New Look jeans but had the same problem as you.

I have now given up. I'm 37 weeks and living in leggings - the only time I've ever worn them and yes, they are hideous!

I had some tesco jeggings in a bigger size (non maternity) that were my only comfortable trousers for the last 8 weeks of pregnancy.

Ha, Flambola - it might come to that! There seems to be a real lack of winter-appropriate stylish yet comfortable clothes. And the likes of h&m and Mothercare seem to think that women suddenly lose all sense of style when they become pregnant.

Would I ordinarily wear a cheap, almost see-through t shirt with an unfunny slogan on it? No. So why do so many shops stock hideous items with "mind the bump" or similar scrawled across them?

If it wasn't for asos I think I'd have been naked these last few months....
