I need some nice tops for going out

I wear mostly jeans and t-shirts or jumpers, but have nothing for going out in.

I mainly need something a bit better for family Sunday dinner and then something to wear to the pub on a Saturday night.

I'm size 14, but 34f bra size, quite tall and have a bit of a spare tyre to hide! Colouring is Brown hair and eyes.

Any ideas?

I mainly buy high street stuff, New Look, Dorothy Perkins, EBay a lot for more expensive stuff.

I rather like those floaty Italian tops. Usually quite long and often embellished. Lots of " natural" colours, browns, olives greys.

I see them at the market and some independent boutiques. Prices start from about £15.

I am of a similar shape and I have just bought a few of those cross over blousey type things.
I'll get a photo

H&M have some silky v neck t-shirts, I'm a very similar size to you and I've bought two in black and a dark green. I think they're very flattering and can be dressed up with jewellery. I also just bought a black top, sleeveless with a narrow gold torc at the neckline. It's subtle but quite dressy. Sorry but I can't do links on here Blush

If you have dark hair and eyes you could probably get away with brighter colours than grey/olive etc.

I'll have a look at lagenlook.

I rarely get to h&m, I'll look in their website.

I do tend to wear mostly grey. I quite like some shades of blue, turquoise, green though. Mainly sort of jewel colours . And black and white patterns.
