Where can I get some smart / elegant slippers for working in showhome?

Hi,

Anyone know where I can buy some smart slippers that suit a younger person. (I 26 and a lot look like they are for Grannies!!!).

Working in a new home development and the sales office is within the showhome so don't want to damage the carpets, and my heels get v mucky on site even in dry weather.

Can't you just have a spare pair of shoes?

StuntBottom · 13/10/2015 16:51

Agree. Even the smartest slippers will not look professional. Just get a cheap pair of ballet flats. They won't damage the carpets.

Surely ballet flats that you keep in the office are the way to go?

Just keep an indoor pair of shoes

I have worked in show homes and always had a pair of shoes for the marketing suite. Normally when you go out on site you will need suitable footwear, ideally steel toe capped or rigger boots or wellies, think muddy!! These were supplied often by the company as part of your PPE- personal protect equipment.
Plus you should get a lovely hard hat and high vis vest and jacket!!
Congrats on job, I really enjoyed it in the 8 years I did it for.

Khussa slippers? It depends what else you're wearing, though.
