Problems with conditioner.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening please?

I thoroughly rinse conditioner out but at the moment it's like it's not rinsing out properly and leaving my hair dull. I tried for a week not using it, just shampoo as thought it might be a build up and it was fine, but it's happening again after starting using it again.

Are you putting too much on? Or putting it all the way to the roots instead of just down the length? Have you tried using a clarifying shampoo to clear any build-up? Or tried a different brand/formula?

Hi rockchick thanks for replying.

I've always used lots and never had this problem before. Yes I use it on my roots, always have done. I got rid of any build up from just using shampoo for a week. And now after the first time, it's happened again. I'm using the same conditioner I've used for years. No not tried that, thanks.

I suddenly started to find i got this with tipi conditioner which i had been using for ages (also a product i didn't think caused build up) so was a little confused. At first i wondered if it might be that i was using too much fabric conditioner on towels and also i caught my husband wiping his hair wax off on my towel! So i had a word with the husband and stopped using fabric conditioner on towels and its been fine since!

I use Heads and Shoulders to get rid of any build up

I found this was happening with a pantene one I'd been using for year. Just happened all of sudden. I switched to silicon-free shampoo and conditioner and it stopped pretty much instantly.
