Hair help please

I have very thick, coarse hair. Over the years I have tried everything from sleek and shine shampoos/conditioners to serums etc etc but I cannot seem to end up with sleek shiny hair.

Any reasonably-priced suggestions please?

Have you considered the curly girl method?
It really helped with de-frizzing my hair

Basically it's changing to sulphate/paraben (nasty) free hair products.
