Black trouser challenge!

Mabelface · 09/10/2015 18:43

Okay all, I need a pair of size 14, high waisted slim leg black trousers with pockets that will fit an apple shape with slim hips for under £30. I usually struggle as if it fits on the waist, the hips and arse are flapping in the breeze. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

\link{http://www.gap.co.uk/browse/product.do?cid=1041201&vid=1&pid=000349597000\these} recommended on here and they are good!

The Gap ones are great. But be sure to try them on. I have a pair in 12 and 16 and they both fit identically. They're VERY skinny as well which I'm kind of going off now.

Mabelface · 10/10/2015 09:10

They're both lovely but not suitable for work.

I have the Next slouch fit, as they are flattering on the thigh, and M & S 14 long. Both under £30.

M&s collection slim fit in long. They're my favourite black trousers ever and I'm fairly certain under £30 as I'm pretty tight!

BrendaandEddie · 10/10/2015 10:33

i dont think Gap ones are v skinny

the stovepipe ones in ( new ish) are nice - plus belt hooks

You can redye them black in the machine after a few months

Next slouch are too low on the waist and the m&s ones have too much material on the hips. I really do need high waist to contain my muffin top

You're welcome! Hmm

Mabelface · 11/10/2015 10:53

Pull faces at me if you want, but I did say high waisted in my op. I do appreciate people looking too.

Meow!

OP I got exactly what you are after in Sainsbury's a couple of years ago, surprisingly good quality. It may be worth looking there, especially as their clothes are now online.

Try Gok Wan at Sainsburys

Mabelface · 15/10/2015 22:06

Bike, thank you. I picked up a pair in primark which fit great. I'll also try sainsbury.
